On1, On2, Montuno, Clave…Did you ever want to know what these terms mean? In
this workshop we will analyze salsa music and its components in such a way that
you will be able to recognize melody, timing, and the various instruments that make
up this incredible music genre. This workshop does not require a partner and will
be part lecture and part choreography workshop. Dance shoes and a beginner level
understanding of salsa dancing are recommended.
