FAQ for Classes

  • How do I register/prepare for classes?
    • Pre-registration is recommended for classes. You can sign up on our website through WellnessLiving. It’s on a first come, first serve basis.
  • Can I purchase at the door?

    • You can register at the door (either wise stated). Front desk can always assist you with that.
  • What is WellnessLiving?
    • This is the software we use for class management and selected events.
  • How do I create a WellnessLiving account?
      • Create a WellnessLiving profile with just your name and an email here
  • What is the Wellness Living App and how do I use it?
    • The Wellness Living App is called “Wellness Living Achieve App”. To use it you must first create an account through their website as stated above.
  • Are classes solo? For partners?
    •  We have both some partner classes (Bachata, Tango & Salsa) and solo classes (Samba, Salsa Aerobics, Afro Latin and Reggeaton).
    • For partner classes, NO PARTNER IS NEEDED. If you come with a partner you are not required to rotate; partner rotation is at-will.
  • Can I register my partner?
    • Your partner will need to have their own reservation in Wellness. Just like your reservation, they book a spot separately under their Wellness Living account. You may, however, pay for their class or membership and it can be transferred to your partner. Ask the front desk for assistance on that.
  • What are the class prices?
  • What is the membership?
    • Esquina offers a membership that allows you to get incentives such as reduced rates for classes, and member only events. Consider our membership, and inquire here for more details.
  • What if I can’t make it to class?
    • We require you cancel at least 24 hours in advance. You can do so from your account on Wellness Living. Otherwise, your spot will be forfeited and your reservation will still be charged.
  • What about class cancellations?
    • If class is cancelled by Esquina Tango, an email will be sent to students. Students will be able to redeem credit towards a different class, or a refund can be issued upon request.
  • What should I wear?
    • For high intensity classes like Salsa Aerobics or Samba, workout clothes are fine. For these classes you can do them barefooted, with dance sneakers or regular sneakers. For partner dancing like tango or salsa, clothes that you can move in are fine. For these classes we recommend shoe wear that allows you to slide on the floor and shoes that are snug to your foot so you won’t loose them (high heels are never required).
