About DJ Michael: Why did I start DJ-ing post-Covid? We were all itching to resume dancing, but we wanted more inspiring music. So I decided to play the tandas my friends actually wanted to dance to. My method remains simple. If l listen to a particular tango while sitting at my desk, and my feet start moving on their own – it goes on my playlist. And I agree that classics are classics for a reason, and roads less traveled are sometimes less traveled for a reason. I prefer what I consider scenic routes, in travel and in music. Allow me to invite you tango travel with me.
What is a milonga? A milonga is a popular social event where people of all levels dance tangos, vals, or milongas! No partner is needed to come to a milonga. At Esquina Tango there is no dress code; you can wear your nice evening attire or relaxed jeans…we welcome you all! Leading and following are available to all, regardless of gender.
